The video depicts the pathway survivors of physical, sexual and emotional violence and abuse can follow in accessing the support and services they need and includes interviews with key service providers including police officers, health workers, lawyers, court officials, human rights defenders and counsellors.

The documentary was commissioned by the Consultative Implementation and Monitoring Council (CIMC) with support from the Australian Government through the PNG-Australia Partnership. CIMC-Family and Sexual Violence Action Committee National Coordinator Marcia Kalinoe, who oversaw the project, said that although there was increasing awareness of FSV and the need to combat it, much more needed to be done to change societal attitudes about violence in the family and within relationships and to expand the network of services available to survivors and their dependents.
