This report offers an operational framework for calculating the cost of gender-based violence to business in Papua New Guinea. The calculation requires a mapping of specific cost categories, which can be estimated using the accounting methodology, which simply aggregates these costs. The exercise is likely not only to raise awareness of the scale of the problem, but also to facilitate evidence-based descision making for interventions.
