Gender and social inclusion in the Pacific water-food nexus

In the Melanesian countries of PNG, Fiji, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands, women (in all their diversity) continuously play a range of important roles in shaping water management, food security and society as a whole. Despite often being framed as vulnerable and victims of inequality, Pacific women are hardworking, creative and resourceful, and they are change-makers and agents of resilience in their own families, communities and the region.
