Exploring the Career Pathways of Pacific Island Women

The purpose of this qualitative descriptive study was to explore how Pacific Island women in the western United States describe their experiences navigating career progression. The study was grounded in Community Cultural Wealth theory. The study addressed one research question: How do Pacific Island women in the western United States describe their experiences navigating career progression? The sample consisted of 16 Pacific Island
women who currently hold or have previously held mid-level or senior-level positions in their respective workplaces.
