This research explores the experiences, challenges, and opportunities faced by Pacific women in sport leadership roles across six countries: Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu. Drawing on interviews, surveys, and literature reviews, the study highlights systemic barriers such as gender norms, limited access to resources, and lack of representation. It also identifies enabling factors including mentorship, education, and targeted leadership programs. The report offers strategic recommendations to enhance gender equity and support the development of Pacific women leaders in sport, emphasizing the importance of culturally responsive approaches and sustained investment.
