ANU Department of Pacific Affairs

The Department of Pacific Affairs (DPA) is located at the Australian National University and is a leading international centre for applied multidisciplinary research and analysis concerning contemporary state, society and governance in the Pacific. 

One of DPA’s core objectives is to train and nurture the next generation of Pacific researchers and to provide activities to build the capacity of existing researchers from the region. DPA has a range of opportunities and activities to support and mentor researchers in their research, writing and publishing work. These include the Pacific research colloquium, Pacific research fellowships and the Pacific visitors program
Professor Nicole Haley of DPA is an inaugural Reference Group member of the Toksave Pacific Gender Resource.
