Most survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) will never report that violence to any authority. Survivors who seek justice in the formal or informal systems navigate myriad challenges in doing so.

It was written as part of a research project which aims to bridge the gap in knowledge on how to advance justice for survivors of GBV in complex situations. Papua New Guinea is one of the six countries selected for the research project.
