This report by 17 NGOs is a summary of findings presented to the Samoan government with recommendations, in a spirit of partnership. A wide range of issues is covered, including but not limited to sexual discrimination against women, the advancement of women, women’s education, health and women in public and political life. The report is organised according to CEDAW articles 1,2,3,5,6,7,10,11,12 and 14. Each section gives recommendations. For example, under Article 2, the report recommends the government consider anti-sex discrimination law.
